Hi, I'm Shelby Smith.

If you’re looking for a photographer who is going to bring out your authentic and unique self,

I’m your girl.

Connecting with my clients is my favorite way to capture genuine reactions on camera

My clumsiness and general goofiness mean that your awkwardness is toast. You'll never have to worry about looking stiff when I might spontaneously break out into song and dance, throw out a ridiculous posing prompt, or look like I'm going to endanger my life trying to get the right angle (I'll trip, you'll laugh, but I promise I'll be fine).

I work with you prior to your session to establish what you typically like and dislike in photos, then I build a posing guide based on your goal for the session. During our shoot, I might have you try a few different poses before settling on one I think makes you look your best. Remember that this shoot is for you! If you want to try something or don't feel your best, please let me know because when you feel good, you look good!

Wild Blue, is a concept.

For me, it represents wildly following my heart.

A little about my photography experience

I've been a photographer for about 10 years. I started out with landscape photography, by entering the State Fair of Texas' photography competition. When I won first place with my first entry, I thought to myself, "maybe I've got the talent for this," and it has only been up from there. I joined the yearbook staff in high school and became Editor-in-Chief of the Grassburr during my time at Tarleton. I've done everything from headshots, to sports, fashion, and even branding, on top of weddings and portraits.
